InstaPay app issues urgent notice to its users regarding winter time

According to Law No. 24 of 2023, winter time in Egypt will begin at midnight on Thursday, October 31st.

The InstaPay application issued a notification on Wednesday, informing its users about upcoming bank system updates due to the shift to winter time at the end of October.





In a Facebook post, InstaPay explained that some banks will be updating their systems to align with winter time between 11 PM on October 31st and 2 AM on November 1st, which may temporarily affect Instabuy services provided through these banks.


According to Law No. 24 of 2023, winter time in Egypt will begin at midnight on Thursday, October 31st.


The law stipulates that from the last Friday of April to the last Thursday of October each year, the official time in Egypt is advanced by 60 minutes.
