For the first time, modern display methods have been implemented in these halls alongside the exhibition of never-before-seen artifacts.
The 12 newly opened halls boast a stunning appearance mimicking the ancient Egyptian civilization throughout its various royal eras.
It also utilized an impressive method of displaying diverse artifacts within each hall, coupled with interactive screens showcasing the history of ancient Egypt.
The layout of the 12 main halls :
- Halls 1, 2, and 3 feature artifacts from the prehistoric era, the pre-dynastic period, the early dynastic period, the old kingdom era, and the first intermediate period.
- Halls 4, 5, and 6 showcase artifacts from the middle kingdom era and the second intermediate period.
- Halls 7, 8, and 9 display artifacts from the new kingdom era, while Halls 10, 11, and 12 exhibit artifacts from the third intermediate period, the late period, and the Greek and Roman eras.
