Egypt Gold exports hit $2,1 billion in nine months
Egypt’s gold exports reached $2,17 billion in the first nine months of this year, compared to $1,11 billion in the same period of 2023, up nearly 96 percent, Saudi media Al Arabiya reported, citing a government document showing that Egypt achieved a significant achievement in gold export revenues, including platinum-plated gold, during September, which saw exports worth $460 million, compared to about $179 million in the same month last year, up 156 percent.
