Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Kamel Al-Wazir, announced that Cairo for Investment and Development (CID) has started receiving applications from local and international investors for 43 ready-built factories in Robbiki Leather City. These factories are dedicated to the production of leather goods and offer unprecedented payment facilities to attract a wide range of investors.

Investors have the flexibility to combine factory spaces to suit their production needs. Factories are offered at competitive prices with highly flexible payment terms, requiring only a 25 percent upfront payment, followed by a one-year grace period. The remaining balance can be paid in equal installments over five years, with an annual interest rate of just 10 percent, facilitated through partnerships with various banks.

This initiative aims to position Robbiki Leather City as the first specialized global hub for leather manufacturing in the Middle East and Africa. It targets attracting leading local companies and global brands specializing in finished leather products, accessories, and complementary industries.

Robbiki Leather City provides an integrated industrial environment with advanced infrastructure and state-of-the-art services. The city adheres to the highest environmental and sustainability standards, supported by cutting-edge technologies. A modern wastewater treatment plant, designed to handle the city’s industrial activities, underscores its commitment to environmental sustainability.

Earlier this December, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, alongside Kamel Al-Wazir, inaugurated the first offering of fully equipped factories in Robbiki Leather City. This launch, part of the city’s third phase, includes 43 ready-to-operate factories, with the entire phase set to house 100 factories.
