Housing minister discusses cooperation opportunities with real estate developers

Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Sherif al-Sherbiny discussed Monday with a group of real estate developers challenges facing the real estate development sector and opportunities for joint cooperation during the coming period.

Sherbiny stressed his Ministry’s continued support for efforts to advance projects and investment, overcome various obstacles and counter any existing challenges facing the real estate development sector.

The minister pointed out that in the past period he visited a number of investment projects established in partnership with real estate developers during his field tours in new cities.

There will be more tours to follow up on the implementation of other ongoing projects in line with directives of the political leadership to expand investment opportunities in partnership with the private sector, Sherbiny said.

For their part, the investors praised the quick action and new approach adopted by the minister in the past period to support the developers, calling for rapid completion of procedures related to the projects.
