According to the agency, the revenue generated from these exports reached approximately $409 million in the first 10 months of 2024. In the broader context of Egypt's export landscape, potatoes constitute a key segment. The total value of these exports was reported at around $4 billion within the initial 10 months of 2024, a climb from the $3 billion noted in the corresponding period of 2023. This increase amounts to nearly $435 million.

The overall performance of Egyptian exports has also seen a noteworthy upswing. CAPMAS data reveals that the total value of the nation's exports surpassed the $4 billion threshold in October 2024 alone, reaching approximately $4.07 billion. This compares favorably to the $3.35 billion registered in October 2023, indicating a substantial rise of over $714 million.
