Petroleum Minister hands over Sisi’s invitation to Cypriot president to attend EGYPES
Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawy delivered a personal message from President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides.
This came on Saturday 25/1/2025 during Christodoulides’ meeting with Badawy, who is on a current visit to Nicosia.
The message carries an invitation to the Cypriot president to attend Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES) due in February.
The meeting comes on the heels of the 10th summit of the three-way cooperation mechanism grouping Egypt, Cyprus and Greece that was held earlier this month in Cairo.
The summit asserted the importance of boosting cooperation in the field of natural gas, according to a statement by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
