Egypt Opens New Opportunities to Foster Innovation

These two programs provide opportunities for Egyptian startups and researchers nationwide. They aim to promote innovation to address market challenges and align ideas with community needs. Such initiatives empower individuals across various fields, including technology and renewable energy.

Supporting Innovation in New Startups 

Applications for the Creativa Incubation Program recently began. This program is hosted at Egypt Digital Creativity Centers across the governorates and is supported by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

Creativa Incubation fosters startups and new companies in sectors such as educational technology, renewable energy, e-commerce, and smart cities. It nurtures businesses before they reach their first round of funding, with a focus on enhancing their sustainability and scalability.

The program also offers participants financial and technical support of up to EGP 360,000 for nine months. Additionally, it provides specialized guidance and opportunities to connect with entrepreneurs and investors.

Bridging Research and Industry

The Innovators Support Fund recently launched the fifth round of its “Researchers to Entrepreneurs” training program.

This initiative targets researchers at Egyptian universities and research centers, typically those with new ideas eager to transform them into marketable products or startup companies.

Through a series of online workshops, participants will develop essential skills to convert their research into practical solutions. They will be able to improve their projects to meet societal needs and provide enhanced solutions to communities.
