Egypt keen to facilitate procedures for gas exploration projects, Sisi affirms to ExxonMobil

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has underscored the importance the Egyptian state places on natural gas exploration projects as he met on Sunday with John Ardill, Vice President of Global Exploration at American multinational oil and gas corporation ExxonMobil.

Sisi emphasized Egypt’s commitment to removing obstacles and facilitating procedures to advance these projects.

The president said Egypt looks forward to ExxonMobil intensifying its exploration and development activities in the country, employing the latest drilling technologies to boost production rates and enhance national energy security.

Sisi commended ExxonMobil as a strategic partner for Egypt in the energy sector.

He expressed his appreciation for the company’s vital role in supporting the petroleum and gas industry within the Egyptian market.

He also praised the company’s continuous commitment to participating in various initiatives and activities launched by the national petroleum sector, reflecting the deep strategic partnership between the two sides.
