The World Economic Forum released last week its famous Global competitiveness report 2016/2017 WHERE Egypt moved one step up from 116th place to 115th.
Egypt ranked 135 in labor efficiency, 134 in quality of primary education and 4th worst (135) in quality of higher education. Egypt also ranked 133 in Security, which was stated to be the main problem ahead of investments by 21% of the respondents.
Switzerland, Singapore and the United states continue to be on top of the list as the most competitive.
Experts stated that the priorities for Egypt are making the economy more inclusive, providing more employment opportunities and giving more power to the private sector.
