The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, in cooperation with Egypt Oil and Gas, released a publication about the Egyptian oil and gas sector and its achievements over the last 8 years.
The sector witnessed a lot of reforms based on Egypt's sustainable development goals and 2030 vision.
Egypt's oil and gas sector has made amazing progress to be at the lead of the Egyptian economic sectors. The ministry exerted and continues to exert huge efforts to discover reserves, issue bids, increase exploration and boost production and trade of oil and gas resources.
In light of the recent events includes the war in Ukraine and Europe's need for oil and gas from other sources than Russia, Egypt has a golden opportunity to make the sector one of the most profitable ones, and the ministry has taken necessary steps to support Egypt's position as Europe's partner that can help its energy needs.
This is a great era for Egypt's position in the Mediterranean region as an oil and gas major player and hub.
