Egypt transforms leather industry with innovative development plan

Robbiki Leather City, a national leather industry development project, sprawling across 500 feddans, is being executed in three phases.

The second phase is scheduled to be completed by mid-2025, with the entire project anticipated to conclude by early 2026, the prime minister said.

The land contract was signed by Sayed Metwally, Chairman of the Public Authority for Land and Dry Ports, and Arora.

Egypt’s Mansour Automotive Group and Chinese SAIC Motor have signed a $135 million agreement to establish a car manufacturing plant in New October.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has announced the completion of the first phase for developing complexes of spinning and weaving factories.
