Milan Bergamo Airport enhances Egypt connections

Starting April 3, 2025, the subsidiary of Egypt Air will operate twice-weekly flights between Milan Bergamo and Sharm El Sheikh.

This milestone underscores the Egyptian government's broader strategy to localize the automotive industry, and attract foreign investment.

This initiative forms part of the government’s overarching strategy to localize production, and position Egypt as a regional industrial hub by 2027.

With energy demand rising and domestic production declining, the project reflects Egypt’s evolving strategy to secure its energy future.
