Football investment: A profitable but risky business in Egypt, Arab world

Arab investments in major European football clubs started when Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Al-Fayed, owner of Harrods, bought English club Fulham.

CNN stated that Egypt’s economy grew 5.6 percent in 2019, making it one of the world’s fastest growing economies.
