Job Description:
To Plan and lead the electromechanical engineering activities in a wide variety of assignments that include the design, preparation of specs, cost analysis studies and construction of the infrastructure associated with the newly introduced technical areas and office buildings. This further includes the facilitating of the expansion that would come afterwards in such strategic premesis.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, reviews and participates in preparing various plans, designs, drawings, specifications, estimates, studies, schedules, recommendations, contracts and reports necessary for the construction, installation, maintenance, and operation of electrical and mechanical equipment and relevant installations in data centers, core sites and office buildings.
2. Leading & strengthening the capabilities of the electromechanical team.
3. Provide technical & functional leadership to the team to ensure that the group supports the goals & objectives.
4. Consults with manufacturers, and specialized consultancy offices in investigating the best design features of various electrical and mechanical equipment and materials to be used within Etisalat sites.
5. Introduce the most effective technical configuration of various E&M systems that contributes to the business continuity and ensure optimum reliability in this respect.
6. Leade the preparation of PRs/RFPs for various E&M items as necessary including the specs, the quantities, the capacities and recommended manufacturers for E&M equipment such as transformers, generators, elevators, escalators, UPS, HVAC units, water pumps, etc.
7. Analyzes bids and makes recommendations for awarding of contracts, and inspects materials and equipment upon delivery.
Directs and checks quality control and quality assurance E&M activities to insure compliance with specifications and approved engineering standards and prepares technical reports in this regard as necessary.
8. Prepares cost estimates, analyzes and prepares reports on expenditure and variations orders of the specifications and drawings relevant to E&M systems.
9. Performs studies of failed electrical equipment and makes recommendations to prevent similar failures.
10. Able to prepare neat technical presentations and engineering letters for formal approaches with internal/ external entities.
11. Reviews project status, schedules and initiates needed changes, and provides advice and assistance to engineering and construction personnel.
12. Calculates capacity of electrical wiring, conduit, switches, and over current protection to comply with pertinent code requirements and standards.
13. Tests or supervises the testing of E&M appliances/ equipment to assure compliance with the electrical Codes and nationally recognized electrical safety standards adopted.
14. Contribute for the continuous improvement of the process for new core sites.
15. Making smooth interconnection relations with other teams in same & other departments, & taking their feedback in consideration for improvement

Skills:
1. Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
2. Min 7 years Experience
3. Excellent Computer skills, Advanced MS excel is required
4. Excellent in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral)
