Job framework:

Conduct Code of Conduct compliance assessments at factories in Egypt and less frequently in other countries of the MEA-region (eg Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Dubai) .
Prioritize, plan and organize assessment work and supplier engagement projects efficiently and independently.
Ensure supplier compliance with Electrolux’s code of conduct and benchmarks, local law and/or collective bargaining agreements.
Write and deliver detailed reports for each assessment and/or continuous improvement engagements using Electrolux audit tools; provide accurate risk assessments of suppliers.
Analyze assessment data, identify root causes to audit findings and develop and communicate corrective action plans for both simple and complex compliance issues.
Monitor and support suppliers in implementing management systems, policies, procedures, capacity building engagements and trainings to address non-compliance root causes.
Integrate with the Purchasing team based in Cairo and drive cooperation with them and with the Supplier Quality Development function. Secure information flow between the RSP and relevant Electrolux functions on supplier performance and general supply base information

Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site Code of Conduct audits at our suppliers.
Support our suppliers in development activities.
Support our purchasing team with your expertise knowledge.
Report to Responsible Sourcing
Program (RSP) Manager of EMEA, based in Susegana.

Skills

• Bachelor degree from university (preferable in legal, finance, engineering or environmental studies)
• Good knowledge of supply chain management and auditing.
• Good understanding of Egyptian labor, health and safety, and environmental laws.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and compliance from a multinational company or a third party auditing company.
• Good language and communication skills (written and spoken Arabic as well as English).
• Independent and self-motivated personality, good ability to coordinate own work.
• High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.
