Job Description:
Responsible for defining & implementing of a HSSE Policy & Plan which includes Budgets & Organizational & Cultural development.
Keeps abreast of relevant legislation & regulations, corporate requirements, standards, and makes sure relevant information is translated in policies, procedures, rules & instructions.
Assures full compliance to HSSE related legislation & regulations, corporate requirements & management system(s).
Accountable for development & implementation of an effective HSSE Risk Management System (prevention & repression) & HSSE Performance Management System.
Accountable for development & implementation of an effective internal HSSE related Audit Management System.
Responsible for development & implementation of an effective Emergency Response Plan & Organization.
Initiates & ensures that investigations of incidents, accidents, (serious) near misses & unsafe working conditions are conducted in a complete & timely manner providing remedial actions to achieve effective incident prevention & avoidance of losses.
Acts as liaison with government agencies & serves as Site Leadership Team representative in case of inquiries & inspections to correct deficiencies & to minimize citations & fines for non-compliance.
Actively supports & promotes a pro-active positive HSSE culture within entire organization (incl. contractors). Sets up & implements HSSE Behavior Based programs & promotional activities that will improve HSSE awareness & ownership.
Works closely with management to develop & implement Policy/Plans: Budgets (OPEX/CAPEX), HSSE Matters, Organizational & Cultural Developments

Qualifications:
Years of Experience: 4-6
Experience Background: Security and HSE
Computer Skills: Good in Microsoft Office
Language proficiency: Excellent in English and Arabic
