IT Section Head- by Top Business

Job Description :
Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
Supervising & supporting the IT team
Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
Testing and evaluating new technology.
Running regular checks on network and data security
Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
Designing training programs and workshops for staff
Conducting regular system audits
Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget

Qualifications :
Computer Skills:Excellent in MS office suit
Language Proficiency:Excellent in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
Bachelor’s degree preferably Computer Science, Engineering or Computer and information
Experience Background:Duties of the IT Section Head can include network management, software development and database administration. IT Section Head may also provide technical support to a business or an organization's employees and train non-technical workers on the business's information systems.
