Java Programmer

Job Description:
Bright Creations is a Cairo based software solutions provider specializing in providing custom Java solutions to clients locally and internationally. Our services include Custom Application Development, Outsourcing, Consulting and Web Design.

We currently work on projects ranging from CRM, HR, ERP and Content Management Systems through to creative web-applications.

Job Qualifications:
• Managing all aspects of the development process in coordination with senior management
• Understanding application requirements and communicating these effectively to the team.
• Assigning tasks to team members
• Ensuring deadlines are met.
• Assisting team members with any difficulties they have with programming and testing
• Reviewing code and ensuring it meets quality standards
• Programming components of the system alongside the team.
• Reporting directly to senior management

• 3 years of Java technical experience.
• 2 years minimum Team Leading experience.
• Fluency in English
• BSc in Computer Science or related degree
• Must have experience in the following:
- Java (J2EE including Servlets) and sound understanding of OO programming
- MySQL and Database design
- Experience in the software development lifecycle from design and development through to unit-testing, system testing and deployment
• The following soft-skills are also compulsory:
- Proven organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work at own initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Fast learner
• Will be a definite plus if have experience in:
- Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
- Hibernate, Spring and other Java Libraries
- CSS Style sheets
- Eclipse
- ANT build files
- Project planning and tracking tools (e.g. MS Project)
