Solvers Camp: Do you hold the solution to Egypt's challenges?
Egypt is facing several challenges in Energy, Agriculture and Entrepreneurial Education. The country also holds brilliant brains and young entrepreneurs that need mentorship, entrepreneurial education and means to implement their ideas to solve Egypt's problems and help shape a better future, giving Egyptians a better quality of life.
Solvers Camp is an initiative founded by MCSBE, Microsoft Egypt, MC Egypt, Masr El Khair, & SolverMine ,in addition to education experts Dr. Halla Hattab (British University in Egypt) and Dr. Nizar Samy (Nile University) & Dr Hadia Hamdy (German Univeristy in Cairo). This partnership is believed to be of great professional value as each of the partners is mastering in one of the challenges stated above.
The applications have already started. Candidates with mini-valuable products who believe they have an idea/solution that would help tackle one of Egypt's challenges in Energy, Agriculture, or Education can apply now.
Deadline for application submission is 5th of June 2014.
Applications will be filtered by professional partners in each of the fields and 30 selected candidates will go to a 2-day-camp program full of intensive training, mentorships, introduction to potential investors and all the needed support to modify and take the solution to the next level, followed by 2 months of mentorships for the winning teams.
Winning teams will be awarded one of the following grants by the partners:
1- 2 tablets from Microsoft
2- 20,000 LE from Masr El Khair
3- 2 months mentorship program from MC Egypt
