Egypt drops 18 places in Logistics Performance Index
From rank 49 in 2016 to rank 67 in 2018. In 2 years Egypt dropped on all of the major key performance indexes used to rank 160 countries in trade logistics practices.
The Logistics Performance Index ranks countries based on infrastructure, quality of service, reliability of shipment and efficiency when it comes to border clearance. The biggest drop Egypt scored was in the international shipment category.
Germany maintained its place at the top rank for the 3rd time in a row (2014, 2016, 2018) while in 2012 it was Singapore. In the last place was Afghanistan taking the place of Syria in the 2016 report.
