Egypt cannot retain talents
Egypt ranked 96 out of 125 countries in Global Talent Competitiveness Index report that is issued by INSEAD Business School.
The report ranks countries based on their ability to enable, attract, grow and retain talents. The 2019 issue of the report focused on harboring entrepreneurial talent that is considered a weapon against globally rising inequality.
Egypt's score was low on all parameters, especially on attracting talents.
In city rankings Cairo came 2nd from the bottom, ranking at 113 out of 114 cities, with only Nairobi behind.
In MENA region, Egypt was ahead of Morocco and Alegria; while United Arab Emirates came at 19th place globally.
The top ranking country was Switzerland followed by Singapore and the USA who had also the top ranking city, Washington DC.
