Egypt medicine industry is booming

Medicines and vaccines are being manufactured in Egypt now more than ever. The country has not experienced any crises in the pharmaceutical field for years and it's getting the attention of international orgtanizations who have increased the evaluation of the Egyptian industry.

Chairman of Medicines Authority, Tamer Essam told the House of Representatives' Health Committee while briefing them on medicines issues and updates.

Essam said that Egypt's medicine industry exports increased by 35% for the first time ever; This rapid increase shows the strength of the industry and its international competitiveness.
