Forbes Middle East released its 5th edition of 30 under 30 including 12 Egyptians, who contribute to the society in different categories. These include Sports, creativity, impact, science and technology and commerce.

Here are the most influential Egyptians among the Middle East's 30 under 30

1. Ahmed El-Ghandour and Mohamed Houssam

Presenter and producer of El-Daheeh (El-Da7ee7) respectively. Their show which is now being broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Museum of the Future, managed to gather more than 1.5 billion views since 2014.

2. Hadia Ghaleb

At just 29 years old, Ghaleb is a successful influencer turned businesswoman, running a digital PR agency and her own fashion brand which is sold in 32 countries across the world.

3. Ibrahim Mohamed

After being a professional footballer for 11 years, Mohamed decided to change careers and he launched Homzmart, an online furniture marketplace. Homzmart managed to gather $40 million in funding in only 3 years.

4. Mousa Salem

Salem founded Colibri Care in 2020 which develops patented hemostatic medical equipment that stops the bleeding during surgeries and medical operations.

5. Mohamed Al-Gawish and Mustafa AbdulMoneim

Founders of iSchool that offers live classes to students aged 6-18 in the tech of the future including coding, AI, VR, AR, data science and game development.

Over the last 8 years, 9000 students graduated iSchool in 10 countries and they helped launch STEM competitions in Egypt for more and more students to learn modern tech.

6. Fatma El-Shenawy

Founder of fintech Khazna, 29 year old Shenawy's goal was to help Egypt's underbanked population. Khazna managed to secure $38 million in 2022 reaching a total of $47 million in total investments.

7. Belal El-Megharbel

The former general manager of Careem, partnered with Mohamed Ben Halim from Jordan to launch MaxAB in 2018 to digitalize the way food and grocery retailers order and recieve produce. The startup helps more than 80,000 businesses complete more than 1.5 million orders.

8. Maryam Haytham Esmat

The 24 year old astrophysicist working at NASA, who started as an intern made Egypt proud by presenting her research with the Exoplanet Characterization Toolkit Team at the American Astronomical Society Meeting in Hawaii in 2020. According to Forbes, she covered major events in Arabic and is currently working on her doctorate at Johns Hopkins University in Dark Matter detection.

9. Nouran Gohar

The Squash star who ranked first in the world, winning 8/12 finals in 2021/2022.

10. Dina Meshref

The biggest name in Table Tennis in Africa and the Mediterranean at only 28. She won the African cup title 7 times in a row from 2014 to 2020 and won also the 2022 title.

Meshref is the highest ranked arab and african player at the 29th ranking worldwide.
