Messe Düsseldorf becomes more active in Egypt

From 2 to 4 September, the four trade fairs GIFA Middle East Africa, METEC Middle East Africa, wire Middle East Africa and Tube Middle East Africa (MEA) will be held in Cairo for the first time as part of METAL & STEEL EGYPT.
Messe Düsseldorf has already been active in Egypt since 2019. The successful market entry was achieved with pacprocess Middle East Africa (MEA), which is part of the interpack alliance, the international family of trade fairs for the packaging and related process industries. In 2022, FoodAfrica Cairo was held parallel to pacprocess MEA for the first time with Messe Düsseldorf holding a majority stake.
In future, Messe Düsseldorf will also be taking its SAVE FOOD initiative to Egypt to coincide with pacprocess MEA and FoodAfrica Cairo. Together with the United Nations Environment Programme, the company is sending out a signal against global food loss and waste and showing how packaging, refrigeration and logistics can support this.
Messe Düsseldorf is not only expanding its international business in North Africa, but is also becoming increasingly involved in Turkey, Southeast Asia and North and South America. In 2023, numerous event premieres will take place worldwide.
