Hyundai outperforms Kia by occupying nine positions
Hyundai has occupied the first nine positions in the sales of the Korean car market, outperforming its counterpart Kia, which occupied later positions.
Hyundai Verna topped the sales of Korean cars between January and April, selling 4,774 cars worth EGP 486.9m.
In the second position was the Hyundai Tucson with sales of 2,553 cars worth EGP 753m, followed by the Elantra HD ranking third with 1,015 cars sold worth EGP 159m. The Hyundai Creta ranked fourth with 891 sold cars worth EGP 197m, followed by the Hyundai Solaris in fifth with sales of 699 cars worth EGP 109m.
Continuing the list, the Hyundai Accent RB came in sixth with 695 sold cars, followed by the Elantra AD in seventh with 640 sold cars. In the eighth position was the new Elantra with 574 sold cars, and the Grand i10 occupied the ninth position with 548 sold cars.
The Verna topped the sales of Korean cars in Egypt during the first quarter of 2016, selling 3,446 cars worth EGP 318m.
The Tucson moved to the second position with sales of 1,896 cars worth EGP 522m, followed by the Creta in third with 681 cars sold worth EGP 130m. The Solaris was in fourth with 499 sold cars worth EGP 73.3m, and the Grand i10 came in fifth with 465 cars sold worth EGP 51.3m.
