Mobile market loses 360,000 clients in August
The number of mobile subscribers in Egypt declined to 99.5 million in August, down from 99.86 million in July, according to a report by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
According to the report, the mobile market lost some 360,000 clients in August compared to July.
Despite the drop in mobile subscribers, Vodafone was the only one among the three mobile subscribers to attract new customers.
Vodafone was able to attract 103,000 new subscribers, raising the client base count from 42.2 million in July to 42.3 million in August.
