Egypt to develop roads west of Cairo
Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has reviewed the plan to develop the road network and axes in areas west of the Greater Cairo Governorate.
The meeting took place in the presence of: Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities; and Giza Governor Ahmed Rashid.
Madbouly asserted that the plan to develop the road network in the Greater Cairo Governorate comes in light of directives from President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to raise the efficiency of roads and traffic axes across the country.
The improvements aim to ease traffic for citizens who use those roads and axes, whilst working on opening new axes, which will contribute to eliminating traffic jams and solving the problem of overcrowding.
