BMW assembly operations starts officially in Egypt

$150 million investments have been pumped into the local market, indicating that the factory acquires the lion's share of these investments.

Global Auto Group, the official importer of BMW, BMW i & MINI automobiles in Egypt, announced the start of assembling luxury models of the BMW brand locally.


Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global Auto, Fahd Al-Ghanim, said during a conference announcing the return of BMW production locally, that $ 150 million investments have been pumped into the local market, indicating that the factory acquires the lion's share of these investments.



For his part, CEO of Global Auto, Mohamed Kandil, revealed the start of assembling BMW X models in Egypt, which belongs to the SUVs category, starting with the X5 40 model.
