The US tech-giant "Amazon" topped the list of the most valuable brands in the world for the year 2023, issued by “Brand Finance”, a company specialized in evaluating brands and strategic consulting.
The list, which includes the 500 most valuable brands in the world, witnessed an Arab presence with 8 companies, the overwhelming majority of which were for Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The United States dominated the list after accounting for almost half of it, with a total of 201 American brands among the 500 most expensive in the world.
China came in second place with 79 companies in the list, followed by Germany with 24 marks, and Japan with 32 marks.
In fifth place, France came with 31 brands on the list of the 500 most valuable brands, then Britain with 24 brands, then South Korea with 8 brands.
And in eighth place, Canada came with 15 brands, then India with 12 brands.
The technology sector was the most valuable with its 48th brands on the list, valued at $1.1 trillion.
Then the retail sector, with 51 marks, worth $1.05 trillion.
Then the banking sector, with 71 marks, valued at $986.5 billion.
