Egypt-based fintech investment platform Exits.me raises $1.25 mln capital
Exits.me specialises in facilitating mergers and acquisitions (M&As) and investments through online solutions on its platform and financial advisory services, with the goal of bridging market gaps for M&A transactions and supporting SMEs and startups in MENA.
The Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) recently granted EXITS MENA a securities marketing and underwriting license, allowing it to provide increased investment channels to customers in a regulated environment.
The platform is now authorized to provide listing and public offering services on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) and the Nile Stock Exchange (NILEX), a SME platform.
EXITS MENA can now advise startups and enterprises through the process of going public and accessing capital markets, facilitating liquidity, transparency, and fair value evaluations.
According to the latest FY MENA M&A Insights report, the MENA area saw a 42 percent rise in the overall value of M&A agreements during Q1 of 2023 compared to the same time last year, with 165 deals totalling a stunning $25.8 billion.
