Egypt's GAFI to promote new online incorporation platform abroad

Abbas added that the new platform will not be limited to the incorporation of new companies. After their formation, companies will be able to register changes to board members, election of general assemblies, and amendments and changes.

He noted that the whole process will be automated in a few months.

Last week, GAFI announced the first-ever incorporation of a company in Egypt through the online platform.

GAFI is the principal governmental authority concerned with regulating and facilitating investment in Egypt.

Egypt launched the new platform as part of a broader effort to encourage entrepreneurship and improve the business investment climate.
