KG Mobility unveils Torres in Egypt

South Korean automaker KG Mobility Corp. said on Wednesday that the company unveiled its mid-sized sport utility vehicle (SUV) Torres in Egypt, aiming to enhance brand awareness in the African market. 

KG Mobility held the launching event of Torres in Cairo on Tuesday. The company plans to conduct product promotions, including customer test drives, over the next one to two weeks. From next month, the company will officially commence the sale of Torres and begin customer deliveries.

"Torres boasts a strong design reminiscent of authentic SUVs, excellent performance, and a reasonable price," said Ahmed Abou Khof, Chairman of Arabiat Egypt, the local dealership of KG Mobility in Egypt. "It has already received acclaim not only in South Korea but also globally, and we expect a positive market response in Egypt as well."

KG Mobility is accelerating the global launch of new models including Torres to expand its export volume. In July, during the Torres launch event in the European market, Chairman Kwak Jae Sun personally attended, holding conferences with dealers to discuss strategies for expanding global market sales and enhancing competitiveness.

In addition, a test drive event for Torres was held at a conference attended by dealers from 13 countries in Africa, the Middle East, and the CIS region in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
