PM Madbouly also met a representative of Kasrawy Group and emphasized that the government is prioritizing the automotive industry.
He outlined the steps taken in this sector, including establishing the Supreme Council for Automotive Industry.
The premier noted that the government communicates with key industry players to address challenges and provide support.
This coincides with Egypt’s effort to support localization of the automotive industry, which aligns with the country’s vision to become a regional hub for this industry to cover the needs of the local market and major parts of Africa.
Egypt launched the national strategy for developing the automotive industry on 14 June 2022 to fulfil the local market's needs and boost exports so that it can compete in the automotive industry.
