Why Egypt is the next destination for denim insiders
The denim industry has a new must-go destination where everyone can find solutions for denim fabric and garment manufacturing.
After the recently announced event Denimandjeans Egypt, due to happen on 2 and 3 February 2025, more initiatives will be crowding denim insiders’ agendas.
On 12 October 2024 they will hold the event Future of Denim Production.
The happening will take place from 2PM on at Conrad Cairo Hotel and will involve four different Italian key players of the textile industry. They are MIC Group, an Italian sewing thread manufacturer that owns a productive hub in Egypt, Nexa, laundry solution manufacturer, Officina39, chemical solution specialist, and SIP Italy, sewing automation specialists.
The event has the aim to shed light on innovative solutions mostly aimed at companies, brands and retailers willing to set up subsidiaries or start collaborating with local suppliers.
There are other events taking place in Egypt related to the textile industry, even if they are not new ones. One of them is Cairo Denim Day and will take place from 20 to 23 February, at Cairo International Convention Centre. It will host manufacturers, digital printers and other specialized suppliers of the denim industry.
This initiative is organized by Egypt Stitch & Tex, a division of Vision Fairs, a regional exhibition organizer specializing in creating, managing, and promoting B2B trade shows across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
