This came during a meeting between Abdullah and a delegation from the China Xinxing Group Co. Ltd. during their first visit to the port to discuss ways of cooperation and the company's desire to invest in the unique location of the port and exploit its capabilities and the facilities granted to enhance cooperation in the field of logistics services.

Abdullah added that this comes within the framework of the interest of major international companies in cooperating with the port in the field of logistics services and to emphasize the competitive advantages enjoyed by the port among ports of the Mediterranean Sea.

This is also consistent with the positive climate that attracts investments, in addition to companies benefiting from the logistical development corridors that link production areas to seaports, including Damietta Port, which are logistical corridors that are among the most important components necessary to transform Egypt into a regional center for transportation, logistics, and transit trade.
