The initiative is open to individuals aged 18 and older with a foundational understanding of IT-related fields such as web development, data science, digital marketing, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
Prior freelancing experience is not required but a basic familiarity with these domains is preferred.
Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of ITIDA, emphasized that the initiative represents a strategic move to bolster Egypt's freelance market and contribute to the national economy by creating diverse and non-traditional job opportunities.
"Freelancing has become a global priority amid rapid shifts in the job market," he noted.
"Our partnership with EYouth reflects our commitment to fostering innovative local startups. Through this initiative, we aim to cultivate a skilled freelance workforce that enhances digital exports and strengthens Egypt's digital economy," he added.
EYouth, awarded the tender to implement the initiative, brings extensive experience in delivering innovative digital education programs to over three million learners across the Middle East and Africa.
"We are proud to partner with ITIDA on this pioneering initiative, reinforcing our dedication to empowering youth through technology-driven education," said Mostafa Abd El-Latif, CEO and Co-Founder of EYouth.
