Investment Minister meets Kuwait’s AREF Investment Group to explore expansion in Egypt

During his visit to Kuwait, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib met with a delegation from AREF Investment Group to discuss the company’s current projects in Egypt and explore new investment opportunities.

The meeting highlighted AREF’s existing investments in Egypt, which total $120 million, and the company’s growing interest in expanding its presence in key sectors such as education, healthcare, industry, and logistics services.

El-Khatib emphasized Egypt’s investment advantages and the government's comprehensive reforms, including financial, monetary, and trade policy measures aimed at facilitating business operations and increasing Egypt’s global trade competitiveness.
