Egypt, EU sign agreement on combating industrial pollution

Minister of International Cooperation Naglaa Al-Ahwani signed with Ambassador of the European Union in Cairo James Moran, French Ambassador to Egypt and Head of Near East Division at the European Investment Bank Group Nathalie Climence - the third phase of the umbrella agreement on combating industrial pollution project.

The total cost of the third phase reaches €150 million to which the Bank will contribute €70 million, the French Agency for Development €59 million, the German Reconstruction Bank 15.5, the European Union €10 million and the Egyptian government € 4.4 million.
