Egypt: Monthly inflation rose by 1.2% in January – Official
Egypt’s monthly inflation rate rose by 1.2 percent in January, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) Tuesday. The statement released by CAPMAS noted that annual inflation decreased during January to reach 9.4 percent compared to December 2014 at 9.8 percent.
The Ministry of Finance announced on Friday that the annual inflation in Egypt rose to reach 10.1 percent during December 2014 compared to 9.1 percent during November.
