Egypt sells $720mn in treasury bills – ministry
The Central Bank of Egypt sold LE5.5 billion (US$720 million) in domestic treasury bills on Tuesday, the Ministry of Finance said.
According the ministry, the bank sold 18 month zero coupon bonds worth LE1.5 billion at an average yield of 11.525 percent, 3-year treasury bonds worth LE2.5 billion at an average yield of 12.155 percent, and 7-year treasury bonds worth LE1.5 billion at an average yield of 13.017 percent.
