Egypt: FM Meets Hungarian Economy Minister
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, currently on a visit to Budapest, met with Hungarian National Economy Minister Mihaly Varga on Thursday.
The meeting took up means of promoting tourism, economic, trade and investment cooperation, Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Aati said.
Shoukry expressed hope that a meeting of the Egyptian-Hungarian joint committee, to convene in the summer, would contribute to bolstering bilateral relations, the spokesman said.
At the end of the meeting, the two ministers signed an agreement to operate direct tourism trips from Hungary to Egypt's Hurghada city.
