Egypt to host 3rd session of Arab European business summit in November

Egypt will host the third session of the Arab European business summit in November 2015, after the general union of Arab Business Chambers approved, Youm7 reported Wednesday.

This comes after Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab requested the union to promote the alliances that resulted from Egypt’s Economic Development Summit in March and further investments in the country.

“The timing of the summit, which is after the (August) inauguration of the New Suez Canal and finishing the general plan of its axis, will support investing in the projects of the private sector,” head of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce Ahmed el-Wakeel said in a press statement for the chamber Tuesday.

He added that the summit aims to integrate Arab and European investors with international companies, technology exporters and modern management ways.

The summit will be financed by a number of grants from the European Union to promote investment and organize the promotional activities during 2015, according to Youm7.
