New investment opportunities to be created in Upper Egypt

The Governor of the Red Sea province, Ahmed Abdallah has announced, during a press conference in Minya on Monday that several investment opportunities will be available during the Upper Egypt Investment Conference to be held in a few weeks’ time.

Speaking at the press conference, Abdallah said there are also opportunities for a bullet train between Cairo, Hurghada, Luxor and Aswan, a seaport and a yacht marina in Quseir and desalination stations in various parts of the governorate.
Among the investment opportunities envisaged he said include an international tourist center in Magawish, an international conference center, a Formula 1 race course, a zoo, a film production city, a sports city, tourist resorts in Abu Doma and Safaga and an oil refinery in Ras Gharib.
