Egypt’s August exports drop to $1.433b
Egyptian exports, other than petrochemical products, dropped by 19.87 percent to reach LE11,005 billion (US$1,433 billion) in August 2015, compared to LE12,687 billion ($1,774 billion) during the same month in 2014, a government report has revealed.According the report published on Thursday by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, the General Organization for Export and Import Control said total exports stood at LE95,051 billion ($12,591) by the end of August, a decline of 18.70 percent, from LE109,158 billion (US$15,488 billion) during the same period in 2014.
